Hedda Gabler

Janya Cambronero Severin is a Swedish actress and director. She has studied theatre at California State University, Chico as well as LAMDA and Stockholm University of the Arts. She is the director and co-founder of Teater Aros, a theatre organization in Sweden with focus on changing and improving society through theatre. She would like to thank True Pulse Theatre for this experience, and her husband Natanael for his tremendous support throughout the process.

Evan C. Schulte

Evan was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and raised in Greater Vancouver.  He quickly recognized acting and art as his calling in life, pursuing it from an early age and thankfully encouraged by his parents.  He trained early in theatre sports and appeared in as many productions as possible on stage while in school, winning multiple awards for acting as well as receiving Most Outstanding Fine Arts Student among his entire class along with a scholarship.  An honourary graduate from SchoolCreative acting school, as well as a graduate from renowned Meisner teacher Larry Silverberg's True Acting Institute, Evan has made multiple appearances in film and television including a recurring role on CW's Smallville for three seasons.  Evan's passion for over two decades in performance and arts has led him to teaching classes with his school The Actor's Awakening as well as co-hosting a podcast Way of the Artist.  He believes every person in the world is a creative being and wants to help people discover that innate force within themselves to see their lives as a work of art.

Cassandra Bourchier

Originally from small town Cochrane, Alberta, Cassandra’s passion for theatre grew from humble roots. She is a recent graduate of the University of British Columbia's BFA Acting program. While a student, she developed a deeper affinity for physical theatre, movement, and music. She is honoured to be apart of True Pulse Production's launch show and looking forward to the unconventional 1 show per week run! For UBC Theatre: The White Liars (Sophie), Lion in the Streets (Sue Winters), Much Ado About Nothing (Margaret/Sexton), The Crucible (Betty Parris/Sarah Good), Hot L Baltimore (Jackie). Other: The Drowsy Chaperone (Man in the Chair), Legally Blonde the Musical (Serena), The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Olive Ostrovsky). 

Trish Allen

Aunt Julia Tesman

In addition to being an accomplished actress with numerous stage and screen credits, Trish Allen is one of Canada's top Voice and Dialect Coaches.  She currently teaches classes at Rogues West Studio and coaches privately.  Trish has been fascinated by Hedda Gabler since she 1st read the play, almost 50 years ago, and would like to thank Emilio for casting her in this wonderful production. 

Jeff Wyndham

Judge Brack

Jeff  Wyndham grew up in Surrey and White Rock. He has a love for story and storytelling and is an avid reader of fiction and plays.

Trained in comedic performance Jeff started on stage co-creating the improv troupe, The New Thing. He also appeared in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest and Beyond Therapy in 2017 and The Melville Boys this past spring. He loves working with actors and sat in the director’s chair, assisting on Harvey in 2018.  

This year, in addition to helping facilitate an acting gym with his friend Emilio Merritt, the duo also launched True Pulse Productions and is co producing his first show, Hedda Gabler.

Emilio Merritt

Eler Lovor (Ejlert Løvborg)

Born in Mexico City, now a proud resident of Canada. Before he finished University with a degree in Communication, Emilio decided to pursue his artistic career. After a very difficult admission process, he attended University at Centro Universitario de Teatro, UNAM with a degree in Acting. After graduation, Emilio got a scholarship to assist on a full time program: "Acting for film and TV" at SchoolCreative in Vancouver. He started writing short films and directed his first short "A Simple Day" showcasing it around different cities internationally. Emilio has written more than eight plays (four produced), five shorts (all produced) and has a feature film in the works. Emilio has gained a lot experience on set working on & off camera. Emilio is very proud of his Latin heritage and he is determinate to place Latin artist in a high stand around the world.

Seth Johnson


Seth first got into acting through high school and started pursuing it as a career after playing Charlie Chaplin in “The cat’s meow.” Seth went on to get a diploma in acting and continued his journey by getting his first agent then auditioning constantly. Shortly after leaving school, Seth went on to meet Emilio Merritt and starred in his original play Dali & Hopper. Seth learned lots from Emilio and became a part of the theatre group he organized. Since the start of the theatre group, Seth has developed quite the love for the stage and made many connections because of it.

Denet Albores

Denet Albores was born and raised in Mexico and came to Vancouver 7 years ago. She graduated from the University of Sonora with a B.A in English Language Teaching and later on studied to become an Early Childhood Educator in Canada.  She currently works for the YMCA as a preschool teacher but she is also a professional salsa and bachata dancer at Bravo Dance Company.

Señorita Diana

Montserrat Powell studied contemporary dance along with Graham and Limon technique at “La Escuela de BellasArtes” and danced in the Oaxacan State Company of Contemporary Dance for approximately six years.

Hedda Gabler is her forth choreography credit and her first in Vancouver.
